Mechanical Ultrafine Grinding and Sorting Equipment

Suitable for fine grinding and grading of dry micron-sized products, it can grind and grade spherical, flake, and needle-shaped particles, and can also grind and grade particles of different densities. The particle size of the product can reach D50: 2 to 150 microns. The particle size of the product is arbitrarily adjustable, and the product variety can be changed very conveniently.

Products Introduction

CWF Series Mechanical Pulverizer: Description, Principle & Structure

Equipment Description

  1. Built via precision CNC machining, welding and other processes, each step follows strict fabrication/assembly standards. The unit is easy to disassemble/reassemble, has no internal dead corners (for easy cleaning), and ensures material purity (tailored to the crushed material’s properties)—it is a dedicated ultrafine grinding device.
  2. Solution highlights:
    • Mechanical pulverizer (with heat-dissipation design); low-resistance classification to reduce heat;
    • Imported SKF/NSK bearings + German assembly (for long lifespan/stable operation);
    • High-speed dynamically balanced grinding disc (linear speed: ~120m/s);
    • Optimized cutter/ring combo (for fibrous/tough materials, ideal grinding effect);
    • User-friendly PLC control system.
  3. Variable-frequency classified impeller (high linear speed, precise particle cutting).
  4. Newly crafted classified impeller (excellent wear resistance/dynamic balance).

Working Principle

  1. Material enters the sealed buffer bin via the feeding system, then the pulverizer via quantitative feeding. It is crushed by collision, friction and shearing between the high-speed rotating grinding blocks and toothed ring. Crushed material enters the classification zone: qualified particles pass the classifier to the collection zone; coarse particles fall back for regrinding; ultrafine powder goes to the pulse dust collector (filtered by bags, clean air discharged by the induced draft fan).
  2. The entire production line can be PLC-controlled (touchscreen display), with sound/light alarms and real-time monitoring of key parameters (current, voltage, temperature, pressure)—enabling full automation.
  3. Can be connected to a classifier for protein extraction from agricultural products (e.g., pea/wheat protein).

Equipment Structure

The main unit consists of a base, motor, bearing sleeve, grinding disc, liner, classifier impeller, etc. Auxiliary components include a cyclone collector, pulse baghouse, induced draft fan, and electrical control system. Key parts:

  1. Classifier impeller: Replaces screens (which clog/adsorb material for >120-mesh sorting, affecting output/particle control). This cage-type impeller (high-speed dynamically balanced, max 18,000 rpm) ensures stable particle control; labyrinth air seal prevents large particles from entering finished products. Customizable (size/material per material type).
  2. Grinding disc: Core grinding part (baffle + hammer), splits the chamber into two zones (coarse grinding → fine grinding/classification). Dynamically balanced (max 6,000 rpm, 120m/s linear speed). Customizable (size/material per material type).
  3. Liner: Fixed grinding component (arc-shaped, gear inner surface) enhances material shearing/grinding. Customizable (size/material per material type).
  4. Induced draft fan: Provides core suction (negative-pressure system, no dust leakage—meets environmental standards). Can be designed as a material-conveying fan (negative-pressure suction + positive-pressure discharge; multiple configurations available).
  5. Bearings: Japanese imported SKF/NSK.
  6. Discharge valve: Pneumatic double butterfly valve or electric valve (selected by material properties).
  7. Feeder: Variable-frequency screw feeder (uniform/stable feeding).
  8. Pulse air tank: Timed/positioned air jet to clean material adhered to filter bags.
