Microwaves are electromagnetic waves with frequencies between 300 MHz and 300,000 MHz. Water molecules in the heating medium are polar molecules. Under the influence of a rapidly changing high-frequency magnetic field, their polarity orientation changes with the external electric field, resulting in intermolecular motion and mutual friction. The microwave field converts this energy into heat within the medium, causing a series of physical and chemical processes, including temperature increase, heating, and expansion, thus achieving the purpose of microwave heating, drying, and sterilization.
